Volunteers are a vital part of the Cadence Health family and help make both Central DuPage Hospital (CDH) and Delnor Hospital warm and friendly for patients and staff alike.

Volunteer opportunities include:

Additional opportunities are available at the CDH Cancer Center, CNS Home Health & Hospice, Cadence Convenient Care centers, Delnor Glen Senior Living and LivingWell Cancer Resource Center.

The goal of our Volunteer Program is to reduce stress for patients and their family members, enabling them to relax and have a more positive experience. Volunteers must be comfortable interacting with patients and their families, be sensitive to their needs and possess strong interpersonal and people skills. Our program operates seven days a week during daytime and evening hours. Volunteer hours are tailored to meet your individual schedule.

There are many benefits to becoming a volunteer at Cadence Health. It will lift your spirit and give you a new perspective. You can meet new people while doing something worthwhile and learning to express yourself in new ways.

Employed or retired, student or homemaker, teenager or adult, there are opportunities available for you through Cadence Health’s Volunteer Program.
