If you're facing an acute emotional problem that needs immediate attention, Cadence Health offers short-term inpatient care in our Crisis Stabilization Unit. This secure hospital psychiatric unit provides immediate help to people who pose a risk to themselves or others, and those who are unable to care for themselves.
Personalized treatment: a team approach
The Crisis Stabilization Unit provides you personalized care from psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses and licensed therapists on staff at Cadence Health. These specialists work closely together to address acute problems and develop goals that will lead to a successful recovery plan. Therapists on the Crisis Stabilization Unit coordinate care and serve as the primary contact for you and your family.
A full circle of care and support
Inpatient treatment provides patients with the resources to move toward wellness, including individual, family, and group therapy. Patients will move to treatment in the partial hospital program to continue recovery.

Admission to the Crisis Stabilization Unit is by direct psychiatrist referral or through assessment in the Emergency Department.
