When it comes to even a minor illness or injury, getting treatment quickly and close to home matters. That’s why Cadence Health offers walk-in care at both our CDH Convenient Care Centers and the Delnor Express Care Centers* – ideal for those times when you simply can’t plan ahead.

With eight west suburban locations offering same-day treatment, all of our facilities are staffed by highly trained nurses, physicians and technicians. All locations offer convenient extended hours even on weekends and holidays, and don’t require an appointment for most services.

More Capabilities for More Convenience

Thanks to our depth of services and capabilities, you can turn to a CDH Convenient Care Center or Delnor Express Care Center for a wide range of care needs. Our centers have on-site labs; diagnostic services including X-ray; and several locations offer on-site mammography and prescription services. You can also come to the centers for preventative care like flu shots, health screenings and school or sports physicals.

Whether it’s an ankle sprain on the soccer field or a stuffy nose that’s taken a turn for the worse, your medical needs don’t always keep office hours. That’s why it’s nice to know one of Cadence Health’s walk-in care centers is ready and waiting for you, with convenient locations, extended hours, and a broad range of diagnostic and treatment capabilities – with no appointment needed.

When an Emergency Requires the ER

Certain symptoms and conditions require technology and medications that are more appropriately provided at the hospital. We encourage patients with life-threatening emergencies, such as those listed below, to call 911, or go directly the nearest hospital Emergency Department.

• Signs of a heart attack such as chest discomfort or shortness of breath
• Signs of a stroke such as slurred speech, sudden weakness or numbness of the face, arm or leg, or blurred vision/loss of vision
• Major injury or trauma
• Uncontrolled bleeding
• Loss of consciousness
