Combined, our system treats 88,000 patients annually on our Central DuPage Hospital (CDH) and Delnor campuses.
Both of our emergency departments at CDH and Delnor are Level II Trauma Centers, leading and coordinating emergency medical services (EMS) for many of the surrounding communities. With the experience, locations and resources to treat everything from minor injuries to life-threatening illnesses, the Cadence Health emergency departments offer an advanced level of coordination and care when every minute counts.
Cadence Health emergency departments provide treatment for everyone from infants to the elderly. For the youngest patients, our CDH campus features a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department where you’ll find board-certified pediatric emergency physicians on the medical staff of both CDH and Children’s Memorial Hospital. In addition, our Delnor campus is recognized as an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP).
For adults, in addition to treating injuries and illness-related emergencies, our CDH campus is a Certified Primary Stroke Center, providing high-level stroke care when time matters most.
You can feel secure knowing the CDH emergency department is also an Accredited Chest Pain Center. Working in partnership with EMS, emergency physicians, cardiologists and critical care nurses, the goal is to shorten the time from a patient’s initial cardiac symptoms to treatment.
