For example, at Cadence Health’s Central DuPage Hospital campus, you’ll find Illinois’ only full-field intraoperative MRI (i-MRI). The i-MRI is a state-of-the-art surgical tool that provides high-quality, detailed images during critical procedures like brain surgery, which allows the surgeon to make adjustments as necessary, thus improving patient outcomes.
Likewise, our system features catheterization labs that provide continuous imaging during heart surgery procedures, allowing surgeons to provide maximum benefit from minimally invasive techniques. Two system facilities offer on-site PET/CT scans 24/7, so scans can take place when you need them.
Technology is best maximized when highly skilled professionals are available to operate it. Cadence Health hires, trains and retains some of the best technicians in the western suburbs. Many of our technicians have 20 years or more experience in the field. As well, the radiologists* that interpret your exams offer subspecialty expertise such as neuroradiology and interventional radiology.
